Digital Marketing Specialist

We’re super pumped about our company vision for 2019—part of which includes forming an entire team around our digital marketing services. Up until now, we’ve offered a lite amount of digital marketing to clients. We’ve found it’s something that we enjoy. We think it’s something that we’re good at. And we believe there’s an infinite amount of opportunity to grow within this space.

In 2019, we want to get more focused and invest in creating a team that specializes in digital marketing. In turn, this will allow us to offer DM services to more clients, expand upon the service set as a whole and hone in on the strategies we’re implementing.

Our Vice President of Digital Strategy will be heading up the formation of this team, but ultimately our Digital Marketing Coordinator / Account Manager will be our first full-time member of this team and exciting new venture at our company.

The Role

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assessing client needs and creating digital marketing plans based on project budget in coordination with our VP of Digital Strategy
  • Monthly marketing implementation for each account you’re managing
    1. Will include services such as digital ad placement, social posting, blogging, email marketing, website management, etc.
  • Ability to assess performance via statistics and adjust as necessary
  • Maintain consistent client communication
    1. Convey value of services, performance, and general updates
  • Will need to assist in some additional Account Management for current clients

Who You Are

Preferred Competencies & Experience

  • Experience in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns across several channels
  • Understands the importance of consistent branding through messaging, visuals, etc.
  • A wide range of digital marketing experience including:
    1. Digital Advertising (Facebook, Google AdWords, etc. & experience with landing pages, A/B testing is a plus)
    2. Managing social media channels & knows how to create an engaged online community (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TripAdvisor, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.)
    3. Email marketing (experience with Automation is a huge plus)
  • Understanding E-commerce and Sales Funnels is a huge plus
  • Experience with analytics (esp. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, & Facebook Pixel) and comfortable making strategic decisions weighing data and discretion
  • Proactive leader
  • Enjoys writing engaging content (website, blog, social copy)
  • Knowledge of WordPress CMS is a plus

The Nitty Gritty

  • Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:30 (with flex time available)
  • Position Requirements
    1. 2+ years of experience managing campaigns required (preferably in an agency environment)
    2. Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
    3. Must excel in a team atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
    • Assisting with incoming payments
    • Payables management
  • General office management and administrative duties as needed

Who You Are

Preferred Competencies & Experience

  • Knowledge in Quickbooks recommended, but not required
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills

The Nitty Gritty

  • Flexible hours within our office hours of 8:30-5:30
  • Part-Time
  • Approximately 20 hours to start with the future potential to increase.
